Police officers and officials from the Ministry of Health closed the SureWay Loss Clinic in Worthing, Christ Church for allegedly operating without a registered practitioner.
According to a source, officials began investigations into the goings-on at the clinic after several complains from members of the public.
The source told Trakker News, the receptionist a registered nurse was administering treatments to clients and the doctor, a non national, who operated the clinic was not registered to practise in Barbados.
Several packages of drugs and documents were taken away for analysis.Three employees were also taken into custody for questioning.
Sureway Loss Clinic began its operations in Barbados in October last year, among the services it offers to the public are Laser Liposuction, Measotheraphy and Butt Augmentation.
