Georgetown- As life at the Stabroek market returns to some level of normalcy following a deadly grenade explosion a few weeks ago, the police continue to investigate but have no leads of others who may have been involved in the possession of the army grade device. Speaking to TrakkerNews on the issue police commissioner Henry Greene said that so far investigations have revealed that the man,now dead who was in possession of the grenade was a runner of the market moving from point A to B."Our understanding is that he would take and bring illegal items like guns, grenades and other items for sale, he was a mover, a middle man". The commissioner said that intelligence so far points to guns around Stabroek which is the den for all sales and rentals of guns and ammunition. Greene said that to date the police have been unavailable to determine the origin of the device, since the key component which is the pin of the grenade is yet to be found.
