Bandits break in vehicle at popular business spot- getaway car caught on surveilance camera.

Industrial site Ruimveldt– Three bandits just after 14hrs. today broke into a vehicle belonging to a Canadian citizen in front of the popular National Hardware Supercentre located at Industrial site Ruimveldt. The car PMM 2832 AT 192 Carina was caught on the company’s surveilance camera, when the men made good their escape. They stole three bags from the vehicle containing bank cheques, the Canadian’s passport and other valuable electronics. Within half hour of the robbery, the Canadian Iqbal Dawud, got a call from a man named Shawn who claimed to be a taxi driver. TrakkerNews was told by Mr. Dawud that the taxi driver found his belonging in a salt bag on Hadfield and Vlissengen road.

Dawud and his cousin Zaqeer who was with him during the break in visited the area where the bags were found. Apart from the electronics that were missing everything else was intact. The taxi driver Shawn recalled seeing a fear skin Ameridian looking fella exiting the said car PMM 2832 and throwing out a salt bag. He said he had passengers in the car and was driving slowly a distance behind the car and became suspicious with what he saw. TrakkerNews was fortunate to get the taxi driver’s cell number, who related to us that there were three men in the white car. He said that he decided to investigate after the men sped off the scene and found the bags, one of which contained the passport belonging to Dawud and contact information. He said right away he knew it was a robbery. It was then he contacted Dawud about the find. The License office was able to trace the number to a Gavin Sutton of lot 8 Paradise, East Coast Demerara. Currently the victims are at Ruimveldt police station reporting the matter.
