National Security projects to reinforce stable political environment – Minister Rohee

 Georgetown – Minister of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee said his Ministry will be aggressively pursuing implementation of capital and current projects under its 2011 budget as well as push for the completion of those that have rolled over from 2010. 

He was at the time speaking to media operatives at a press conference at the Ministry’s boardroom, Brickdam. 
 In light of the fact that 2011 is an election year, he said that the implementation of national security projects under the Office of the President; such as the installation of CCTV cameras at key locations in the city and the launch of the National Intelligence Agency among other initiatives will reinforce the already stable political environment for the holding of free and fair elections in Guyana. 
The Ministry affirms it assurance to the public at large that it will spare no effort in ensuring that their right to live in peace is not disturbed by political malcontents and others with an agenda to promote violence.
