Finance Minister Winston Dookeran is today urging Clico policyholders and public servants to exercise patience.
Speaking at the launch of Banker's week hosted by the Banker's Association of Trinidad and Tobago Dookeran said government will resolve the issues affecting both groups to the benefit of all.
Dookeran said the government has been able to formulate a plan to deal with both issues while ensuring the stability of the balance sheet while taking into concern the problems facing the affected.
Dookeran is therefore calling on both the Clico policyholders, who are requesting their investments from the failed financial institution, and public servant, who are calling for hire wages, to be patient.
