Road Fatalities continue with two deaths over the weekend.

Georgetown–  The police traffic department continue to ignore the serious dangers posed by stray animals on the roadways, which is major contributor to many fatal accidents. A stray running across the road was responsible for the death of  21 year old Naomi Nedd of Soedyke Linden, after her mother who was driving, swerved and slammed into a tree. Years now the police planned on using stray catchers and take action against the owners of  strays roaming the roadways, however these stray catchers are still parked in the police compound. In the past these animals were impounded and the owners were charged huge fees to retrieve them.

Just after 18:00hrs yesterday, a soldier perished after he slammed into a culvert when he tried to overtake a vehicle and lost control. Dead is Terrence Mccallister of Lodge, after he suffered multiple injuries to the head.
