Essequibo : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that at Onderneeming Public Road, Essequibo Coast, and which resulted in death of Felix Layne, 66 years, of Onderneeming.
According to a police statement, the driver of motor lorry GLL 5313 was proceeding along the road way, when it is alleged that Felix Layne who was driving motor car HB 6417 drove out from an access road onto the main road, causing a collision with the motor lorry.
Felix Layne received injuries and later succumbed, while two passengers who were in the motor car also received injuries and were treated at the Suddie Hospital and sent away.
The driver of the motor lorry is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
