Berbice : 24 year old Raymond Madray of Bennett Dam, Rosignol, East Bank Berbice, died as a result of a fatal accident on the No. 2 Village, West Coast Berbice Public Road.
He was at the time driving motor car PFF 9723 with three passengers east along the northern side of the road negotiating a turn when it collided with another car PHH 8004 driven by Rajmattie Persaud age 35 years of Golden Grove, ECD with two passengers proceeding in the opposite direction.
Raymond Madray died before receiving medical attention at the Fort Wellington Hospital, while Rajmattie Persaud and the six other passengers are presently hosiptalised at the New Amsterdam, Fort Wellington and the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation in a stable condition.
