Berbice : Acting on information received, at about 11:00 am today, police ranks arrested wanted man Vijay Seenarine, who had escaped from the New Amsterdam Prison on June 11, 2011, as he was walking along J.C. Chandisingh Road at Rosehall, Corentyne, Berbice.
Vijay Seenarine was remanded to prison on a charge of carnal knowledge and is one of four prisoners who had escaped.
The search by the Joint Services for the remaining three escapees is continuing
