Essequibo-The police are investigating an incident at Barama Road, Buck Hall, Essequibo Coast and which resulted in the death of Chaitram Sooknarine, 43 years of Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast.
According to a police report, Chaitram Sooknarine, along with Trevor Pearson and Earnko Pearson both of Mainstay, Essequibo, were in the tray of a motor lorry which was proceeding along the Barama Road, when the driver is reported to have lost control of the vehicle which toppled resulting in them receiving injuries.
They were taken to the Suddie Hospital, where Chaitram Sooknarine was pronounced dead on arrival while Trevor Pearson was referred to the GPHC and Earnko Person admitted at the Suddie Hospital for medical treatment.
