Georgetown : Last night the police responded to information received from a member of the public that a number of men were seen jumping over a fence into the compound of SOL Guyana Inc. at Agricola, Georgetown.
At the scene the police ranks came under fire and returned fire hitting Michael Gobin, 30 years, of Hogg Street, Albouystown, to his hand and foot. He is under guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Another man was arrested and is also in police custody assisting with the investigations.
