East Coast Demerara : The police today are investigating the murder of farmer Titus Sutton, 53 years, of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, which occurred at at Baracara, Canje River, Berbice.
According to reports, Titus Sutton was involved in an argument with another man who allegedly shot him to his chest with a shotgun. Sherwin McAlmont, 34 years, also of Melanie Damishana, ECD, was shot and injured to his right thigh by the suspect who escaped.
Sherwin McAlmont has been admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital for medical treatment.
