Port-of-Spain: Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley is questioning a $63 million request for additional expenditure for the Attorney General's Office, saying some of the funding is going towards arbitration in the cancelled $3 billion contract for Offshore Patrol Vessels with BAE systems and into forensic legal audits.
He has labelled the actions of the Attorney General's Office as "stange exercises".
He is also questioning an additional multi-million dollar allocation to the North West Regional Health Authority, given that the Port-of-Spain General Hospital was only to be given a mere $9 million.
