Over 200 workers at LIME going home

Bridgetown.

Over 200 employees at the telecommunications company LIME will be laid off at the end of this month.

According to a source, they includes 200 workers from the service support and deliver and associated customer support teams who will be laid off due to a deal between LIME and Ericsson and 12 others from various departments who will be sent home due to LIME outsourcing their jobs or making their posts redundant.

The employees were informed that they were being laid off in termination notices issued last week and signed by Head of Human Resources Stephanie Catling-Birmingham.

 They were informed  told  that consequent to the reorganization of the service support and delivery function, their roles were being made redundant.
