A senior police officer says the murder of four people last Friday at Seaview Gardens has overseas links.
Senior Superintendent Delroy Hewitt, the head of Kingston Western Police Divison says police intelligence indicates that Jamaicans living overseas are connected to the case.
Hewitt told journalist this afternoon that the police have not requested help from overseas lawmen but it has not been ruled out.
According to SSP Hewitt, the police have been receiving significant leads into the quadruple killing.
A man described as the principal suspect in the Seaview slayings was this morning shot dead by the police in a reported shoot-out.
Hewitt says around 5:30 a.m. this morning, the police went to a property at 121 Orange Street in downtown Kingston to question 19-year-old Davian Gordon.
There was a shoot out and Gordon also called was shot dead by the police, 9 mm pistol was recovered from the body.
The police commander says the police are seeking three other men suspected to have been involved in the shooting.
