Georgetown : Pandemonium broke out this afternoon at Ezjet Brickdam’s office in Georgetown when word spread of a Government suspension due to financial setback be the airline in New York. The media was barred from a closed door meeting with frustrated passengers and EZjet acting CEO Rosalinda Rasul. However this publication’s correspondent who was recognized by the CEO as a media personnel was allowed in the room.
The CEO competing her voice with the irate customers said EZJet ran into problems with the carrier company Swift Air due to an American football game last weekend that required extra unscheduled flights in North America that caused her company to postpone flights here in Guyana. However, Ezjet will refund passengers for flights that were unable to meet the schedule.
At that point, things began to get out of hand and the police were summoned. This move got the passengers more agitated since the law men operated to keep the people calm while protecting the CEO.
Passengers complain of losing their money in the long run since persons said they cannot reach home in North America and may lose their jobs while some cried out for the supply of their medication.
