Paul back on the job

Bridgetown.

James Paul return to the post of chief executive officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS) yesterday, after being voted back into the position by a newly elected board at a stormy meeting on Saturday.

Paul who was ousted by the former board at the end of September said  "I am back, as far as I am concern the new board has made its decision".

The new board headed by president Carlisle Brathwaite, first vice president Woodville Jones and second vice president Andrew Gill, were elected at a meeting which several BAS members walked out..

Paul, who is also a Government back bencher in Parliament, sated that at the time he was sever he had not received a letter giving him reasons for being fired.
