The Barbados Workers Union (BWU) and the telecommunications company have setlle their long running pay dispute
.Sir Roy Trotman the general secretary of the BWU told Trakker News, both parties under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, has agreed to the 12 percent increase compounded with the agreement now extending to March 31, 2013.
LIME and the BWU met on the afternoon March 27, for a marathhon 10 hour session that spanned into the wee hours of the next day under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Stuart. Before the meeting the BWU was asking for pay increase of 16.5 percent and LIME was offering 7.5 percent.
Sir Roy said the Prime Minister give the public the full details of the agreement.
