67 year old Pertab Surjdin, of Chateau Margot, ECD. succumbed at the hospital after being hit down by
a motor vehicle.
The police said mini-bus BHH 7168 was proceeding along the roadway when it is alleged that the pedal cyclist, who was proceeding in the opposite direction, attempted to cross the road and was struck down by the motor vehicle.
Pertab Surjdin was taken to the Georgetown hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the mini-bus is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
