Georgetown: Pepperpot will not be served to Errol James, 22, of Lot 767 One Mile Wismar Linden who is facing a robbery charge.
The accused appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine Beharry Monday charged with three counts of armed robbery.
Police Prosecutor Burgett Grant in objection to the bail application, told the court that the accused was positively identified by all three complainants.
He was not required to plea to the allegation. Attorney at Law Gordon Gilhuys represented James. The lawyer said that his client has no previous brushes with the law and was never placed on an Identification parade
Police say that on December 19 at Block 22 Wismar Linden, James used a firearm to rob Euclid De Puertes of a blackberry cellular phone a gold chain, gold and diamond ring US $300 among other items valued at over $500,000. It is alleged that on December 12, the accused robbed Hurbert Campbell of a quantity of phone cards, his blackberry mobile phone and a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka valued at $230,000. James also robbed Mandy Kissoon of her Blackberry curve and 15,000 Cash.
