Georgetown : Prime Minister Samuel Hinds and Minister of Public Works and Communications will present the broadcasting bill 2011 for the first reading on Thursday.
The bill to make provision for the establishment of the Guyana National Broadcasting Authority responsible for the regulation, supervision and development of the National Broadcasting System, to provide for its functions and licensing of broadcasting agencies and the encouragement of production and broadcasting television and radio programmes.
