Georgetown- The fact that a young candidate replaced long standing PNC/R member Aubrey Norton on the list of Parliamentarians is creating quite a stir in the opposition camp. Norton is a former Member of Parliament who has been one of the many stalwarts of the Robert Corbin-led PNCR. He was initially on the list, but was subsequently replaced. It is believed that Aubrey's exclusion is the work of PNC/R Leader Robert Corbin, who reportedly objected when APNU's David Granger included him on the list of Parliamentarians. Some believe that Norton's exclusion is a payback for his role is challenging the leadership of the PNC/R.
