Brickdam, Georgetown- Police this morning were forced to shoot at a crowd on Brickdam after the group of protesters failed to comply with police orders to disperse. The protesters seven in number including a seven year old and a woman were shot with rubber pellets and taken to the hospital. Trakkernews understands that David Granger and a body guard were picked up by the police. Attorney at law James Bond and member of parliament for APNU sustained multiple injuries and lacerations on his back. The protesters shouted that they will shut down the town and proceeded to march down Brickdam, just a stone's throw away from the square of the revolution, when police intervened. This happened just as the business community raised concerns this morning that they were fearful that the protesters may resort to violence.
