Police ask for the public’s help in former lawman’s murder

Bridgetown.

The police is appealing to the public for information  to help them find the killer of former Chief Immigration Officer Kenrick Hutson, who was shot to death on December 28, 2007 at his Butler's Avenue Spooners Hill St Michael.

"We have interviewed a few persons of interest but no arrest have been made. We are still treating this as an active investigation and we are still treating this as an active investigation", public relations officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Inspector David Welch told Trakker News.

"I am therefore making a appeal for help from the public to further assist the work of our investigators," he added.

Hutson was a senior police officer before being appointed to the post of Chief Immigration Officer in 1980, the police and Hutson's family have offer a reward of $20,000 for information leading to any arrest for Hutson's death.
