Georgetown: Two Guyanese and three Jamaicans have been taken into custody following an early morning raid at a house in CummingsLodge. East Coast Demerara. An unlicensed .45 Glock pistol with 8 matching rounds and seventeen .38 rounds were found.
The police also seized a CBR motor cycle, a television set, and a stereo set with amplifier and speakers which are suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained, along with six cell phones. Police say that they are hoping that those in custody provide information of what operations they are involved in and possibly provide leads to others involved in what is believed to be a crime ring.
