The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) has issued a pea for caution on Barbados's roads. Public Relations Officer of RBPF, Inspector David Welch told Trakker News the recent spate of serious accidents had been a major concern for lawmen.
Welch said so far for the year, there had been six road deaths and if the trend continued, the number of road fatalities could surpass last year's total of 18.
According to Welch there are some very basic principles that road users need to employ such as remembering the speed limits, using defensive driving tatics, paying attention to pedestrians and other persons using the road.
