Berbice : Around 3:20 am today at Line Path, Skeldon, Berbice, an accident occurred and Police Constable Michael Anthony, of Springlands Police Station died.
The 23 year old Constable was driving a motor vehicle along the roadway when he swerved from a cow, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a bridge. He received injuries and was taken to the Skeldon Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Joshua Bahadur of Kingston, Corriverton, who was a passenger in the vehicle also received injuries and was treated at the hospital and sent away.
