Police corporal to be charged for murder-Evidence sufficient for airtight case

Georgetown- Sherwin Smith will spend the next 15 years behind bars for the cold blooded shooting of a drug counselor Ralph Turpin. Turpin was shot point blank range to the head last Thursday while in the company of two colleagues. The police was positively identified by Turpin friends as the shooter. The prosecution has a solid case against the accused and sentencing will be handed down sometime today. The shooting allegedly stemmed from an argument between Turpin's associate and an armed woman related to the shooter. An attempt was made to shoot the others in Turpin's company but the gun was out of bullets.
