Georgetown : Officials of Advance Security presented three 150 cc motor cycles to the Guyana Police Force at a simple ceremony on the Tactical Services Unit Square, Police Headquarters, Eve Leary, today.
Mr. Mohamed Ally, Corporate Secretary of the Continental Group of Companies, who handed over the motor cycles said that the company saw it fitting to recognise the country’s significant 50th Independence Anniversary this year by making the donation to the Guyana Police Force in support of its efforts in maintaining public safety and security.
Assistant Commissioner “Administration” Mr. Balram Persaud, who received the motor cycles on behalf of the Police Force, expressed sincere appreciation for the timely and commendable gesture by Advance Security, which he indicated will assist with capacity building and with transportation for the effective performance of duties.
