Georgetown: While unconfirmed reports suggested that two police ranks died in Region eight, the police this afternoon says Investigations are being conducted into a report that on Sunday October 14, 2012, two police Constables left the Kato Police Station on an ATV on patrol duties and have not been heard from since.
Information has also been received that the ATV has been seen, apparently with the headlamps on, along a trail in mountainous terrain in the Paramakatoi area, North Pakaraimas.
Police investigators have been dispatched to the area. No further information is available at this time.
