Georgetown : The police today says the abduction and robbery of H. Nauth and Sons Construction Company's clerk, Joel Ali has been staged.
Investigations so far have revealed that the report is false and the alleged incident was staged by the “victim”. The sum of $2.1 million has been recovered by the police.
The victim and two other men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
