Georgetown: Thirty-year-old Police Constable, Michael Cumberbatch was executed on Monday night in his yard North Sophia, Georgetown, one day after Police Commissioner Leroy Brummel declared war against criminals.
According to reports, a lone gunman inquired about if a “Quacy” was living at the constable’s address after knocking at his door. However, the young police told the gunman that no such person lives there and decided to escort the stranger out his yard. While walking him out of the yard, the man turned around and shot him at close range shattering vital organs.
The policeman laid motionless as the gunman escaped. He was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital where doctors were he was pronounced dead on arrival. He was attached to the Tactical Services Unit of the Police Force. Police have launched and investigation, and a suspect is already been sought.
