Georgetown: Four officers are now assistant commissioners following yesterday's announcement by the Police Force, after the Police Service Commission sanctioned new promotions for this year. Senior Superintendent Deryck Grosvenor of the Special Branch; Senior Superintendent Claire Jarvis – Staff Officer of the Personnel Department; Senior Superintendent Dereck Josiah – Second in Command of “A” Division, and W/Senior Superintendent Carol Lewis-Primo – Deputy Head of Immigration.
With those four promotions, the force now has 11 Assistant Commissioners, with the others being Leroy Brumell, Seelall Persaud, Balram Persaud, Steve Merai, George Vyphuis, David Ramnarine and Gavin Primo.
