Berbice : A Berbice man will soon face charges of threat and possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.
Following up investigations into a report of alleged threats yesterday, the police carried out a search on a house at Ankerville, Port Mourant, Berbice, and found an unlicensed .32 Walter pistol and one matching round and an unlicensed .38 Taurus revolver with eight rounds were found.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
