The police are seaching for the mother of June McKenzie, 10, and seven year old Bianca McKenzie who who died in a that destroyed their one bedroom home in Chapelton, Clarendon, on Thursday night. Up to late yesterday, the Chapelton police were still trying to find the mother of the two fire victims.
According to the Chapelton police, neighbours saw fire coming from the house around 8.45 pm and called the police and the fire department.
Residents attempted to rescue the children but could only save the girls' four-year-old brother before flames engulfed the house.
The charred remains of the two children were discovered during the cooling-down operation by firefighters from the Chapelton Fire Station.
Up to late last night the police were looking for the children's mother who is believed to have fled the scene,
