East Bank Demerara : Minutes to noon today, police working on a tip off confronted an armed gang in the vicinity of Agricola, East Bank Demerara, where there was an exchange of gunfire. One man was reportedly shot dead while another sustained gunshot wounds. The dead man was identified as 17 year old Shaquille Grant. More details in a subsequent report.
