Another "sick-out" day by police officers as they reject Government's offer of a five percent salary increase.
A number of officers from the Guard and Emergency Branch have again stayed away from work affecting security operations at key government offices and departments.
Soliders have been called out to pick up the slack.
Like yesterday officers from the Court and Process Branch have also called in sick causing a number of court matters to be adjourned this morning at the magistrates' courts.
The officers are also threatening to shun extra duties at fetes leading up to Carnival unless the negotiations are reopened.
