Minister of Home Affairs Clement Rohee says that the members of Guyana Police Force will be dispatched to Alexander village at the community’s Mandir on Tuesday evening.
The Minister said that the police officers will be in different locations of the village to ensure that the village will be secure from persons trying to disrupt the peaceful celebrations.
This support has been given on a yearly basis because of disturbances at the mandir and in the community during Diwali celebrations.
