Dead: Roy Ross

One resident said Ross returned home in a drunken state after imbibing all day on Sunday, and as a result, his girlfriend left their house to stay with her mother, who resides nearby, since she would usually leave Ross alone when he is drunk because he allegedly becomes abusive

His body was found in his house with several stabs wounds early Monday.

Described as a quiet person in the community who keeps to himself, reports indicate that Roy was at home when he was approached and attacked by two men.

They had reportedly earlier assaulted another villager and sought to gain access to the home of another resident.
