Georgetown: PPP presidential candidate Donald Ramotar told the press this morning that he is not over concerned about recent attacks made by the President against PNC candidate David Granger at the recent concluded county conferences. Ramotar said publicly that he wanted a clean campaign between the candidates, days after the President lashed out at Granger's character. When asked about this campaign strategy, Ramotar responded; "I suspect that this is a response that what the media has been saying in the past about the president especially comments coming from opposition forces".
Ramotar added that this will not affect his campaign and that the President should be taken up on these matters when the press has the opportunity. "Why should these remarks affect me most of the times the media take things out of context".
