Georgetown: Georgetown: The man who had obtained an injunction from the Court blocking the announcement of an overall winner of the March 02 elections allegedly shot himself in the head in the wee hours of Saturday morning at his Prashad Nagar, Georgetown house after an argument with his wife.

Dead is 26 year old Reaaz Hollader. Police said the “alleged suicide” took place in the area at 04:55hrs. Hollader was also the driver of former Attorney General Anil Nandlall.
Police said that they are reviewing the death which was caught on surveillance camera. Hollader took his life in the presence of his wife and security guard.
Nandlall on his Facebook page, Nandlall said, “It is with profound sadness that I confirmed that Reaaz Holladar, my driver for several years, died this morning at or about 4:00 am. From all indications, he committed suicide. He was a loyal and dedicated employee. He has left to mourn a wife and two sons. With his family, I mourn his loss.”
Nandlall, was also representing Hollader in the court case which blocked the Guyana Elections Commission declaring the overall winner of the elections once it included the unverified vote count of the votes cast.
