President of The Association of Public Primary School Principals Ivan Clarke, says there several problems facing principals in the Government owned primary schools, and he is calling for a meeting with the Ministry of Education to have them addressed and resolved.
Clarke also made a call for the ministry to consider appointing clerk typists and guidance counsellors in primary schools. He believes these professionals are needed to assist with the management of primary schools.
He was speaking at the 15th annual general meeting of the association at the Savannah Hotel.
