Prime Minister urged Barbadians to excercise restraint

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart  in his Independence Day Message to to be careful and responsible .

"Place emphasis for yourselves and your children on what you need.Put on hold, unless you can afford them without inconvenience, the things you want but can do without. I call on members of the public to exercise a little more restraint than has, up to now, been evident during this economic down turn", Stuart said.

"You have wants and you have needs.We can do without our wants; we hould not be expected to do without our needs". he added.
