Prime Minister Freundel Stuart of Barbados continue to leave Barbadians in suspense over the date of the general election.
Speaking before a large crowd last night crowd at a beach party held by the ruling Democratic Labour Party at Good Shepherd Beach, Fitts Village, St James, to celebrate Errol Barrow Day, Stuart said the elections are drawing closer but he did reveal the date.
"Ready yourselves because you will be hearing from me very shortly and when that time comes we go into the battlefield with our loins girded and with all of the breastplates of political righteousness", Stuart told a large and expectant crowd.
General Elections were last held in Barbados on January 15, 2008 and are constitutional due in the first quarter of this year.
