Principal apologized for haircut

Bridgetown.

Principal of the Alexandra School Jeff Broomes, has apologized to the to the parents of a schoolboy  for authorizing a to teacher to cut their child's hair.

Two weeks ago Rosemary Yearwood stated in the press, her son' muff which he had wearing for several years was cut by a teacher on the instructions of Broomes.

Yearwood said Broomes had not given her a satisfactory explanation at a subsequent meeting held at the school, rather she and her husband was told by Broomes' secreatary  that they  would not be allowed back onto the compound.

Trackker News understand that Broomes apologized to Mr and Mrs Yearwood for auhorizing a teacher to cut their son's hair,  yesterday evening during a meeting  held at  Ministry of Education chaired by Chief Education Officer, Laurie King.
