Georgetown : The Guyana Prison Service received two new vehicles to enhance its operational capacity.
Minister of Home Affairs Clement Rohee today handed over the keys at the Ministry’s compound to Director of Prisons, Dale Erskine.
Minister Rohee said this will result in the enhanced effectiveness, efficiency and functionality of the Prisons Service, and it expected that the service would take proper care in the use of the vehicles, especially those of whom it will be entrusted to drive.
Erskine thanked the Minister on behalf of the prison service for the contribution and gave an undertaking to Minister Rohee that the driver(s) will use the vehicles with care.
