Reverend Dr Lucille Baird of the Mount Zion's Mission Inc, has created a project to combat the rising number of men being incarcerated, infected by HIV/AIDS, liming on the block and involved in demeaning and criminal behaviour.
The One Man A Month project will also address other issues such as professional men investing their time and monies in strip bars and exotic massage parlours. It will also offer programme was designed to touch as many males as possible.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Baird said the project plans to offer the participants programmes that are life enhancing and create alternatives to offending behaviour.
