Public reminded of continuous voters registration

British Virgin Islands: Persons who have become eligible to be registered as voters in the Virgin Islands’ General Election are reminded that there is continuous voter registration, the BVInews.com reported.

Persons should register by applying to the Supervisor of Elections under Section 6(1) and 14 of the Elections Act, 1994, No. 16 of 1994.

The BVInews.com report said that application forms numbers one and seven may be obtained at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections and at various post and Government offices. These include the District Officer on Anegada, the Government Office on Jost Van Dyke and the Post Offices at North Sound and Valley on Virgin Gorda and at East End, Road Town, West End, Carrot Bay and Cane Garden Bay on Tortola.

Form number seven is also available at the office of Smith’s Ferry in St. Thomas.

The BVInews.com said that the Office of the Supervisor of Elections is located on the ground floor of the Ulric Dawson Building #6, Russell Hill Road, Road Town, Tortola, Virgin Islands. Opening hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
