The private sector is of the view that Government agencies take too long to grant them permission, to conduct their businesses.
President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andy Armstrong told Trakker News, that while the relationship between Government agencies and the chamber had improved over the past year, it could be better.
Armstrong said that some members of the chamber continued to have a problem with the time it took for their application to be granted or denied.
"What we always try to do is listen to what are the issues for businesses and then we try to make sure we can articulate them properly. It is the Government agengies where we have the challenges",Armstrong said.
"Some of the challenges are general, some of our members believe civil servants take to long to expedite simple matters for example a work permit," he added,
