The Government of Barbados is working on a plan to get low cost carrier Redjet flying again.
According to Minister of Labour George Hutson, the Government is working on a solution to give the airline a provisional licence if they can start operations within 60 days.The licence will be valid for a year.
Huston said any financial assistance for the airline falls under the purview of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance but based on the comments by the public surrounding Government's investment in the Four Season project, he said it was unlikely that Government would invest in Redjet without knowing what is happen down the line.
